I'm just starting to use the Kaivo demo and I love it. I'll almost certainly be buying it. But I'm having one huge problem.
Sometimes noteoffs will sound. And stranger still, the noteoffs may or may not play the same pitch as the noteon was. This behavior might happen for a while and then go away, without changing anything.
It happens with multiple midi controllers and from the piano roll sequencer. I've tried it on two computers, and with several of kaivo's default presets. I'm using FL Studio 11, and I don't have this problem with any other VST instruments. And idea what might be going on?
This may be due to a problem that I am trying to fix right now. If you set "constant buffer size" in the FL Studio preferences, does this stop the symptom?
When you say noteoffs will sound, you mean they start a new note instead? Or the note is simply stuck on?
Right, the noteoffs will sound a new note, and not necessarily the note that just ended.
When I get home I'll check that setting in FL's preferences.
Okay, I turned on "use fixed size buffers" in the plugin wrapper, played for quite a while, and it worked perfectly. Turned it off again, and the problem returned pretty quickly.
Good to hear it's something you're already working on. Let me know if I can do anything else to help.
Thanks for the info. Glad to hear you have a workaround while I sort this out.
